Nordic Women in Tech Awards winners announced at 2023 gala event

Reykjavik, Iceland and Copenhagen, Denmark (13 November 2023)-- The Nordic Women in Tech Awards (#NWITA23) today announced the winners of its annual awards program, revealed during the annual gala event, hosted at Harpa Conference and Concert venue in Reykjavik, Iceland, on 9 November.
The annual awards program is dedicated to honouring women leaders and emerging leaders in technology across the Nordic countries, with a national level and Pan-Nordic nominations program, culminating in the gala event. The program and event are co-organised by founding partner WonderCoders in Denmark, as well as Women In Tech Gothenburg, Women in Tech Oslo, Girls in Tech Nordics, Danish Startup Group, Politiken, and this year’s local host partner WomenTechIceland.
Among the 260 guests in attendance were First Lady of Iceland, Eliza Reid, and Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Áslaug Arna Sigurbjörnsdóttir, who kicked off the event with two compelling and thought-provoking keynotes. Ambassadors and embassy representatives from all of the Nordic countries and a press delegation accompanying our Presenting Partner, Business Iceland, were also present.

Verðlaunahafar Nordic Women in Tech Awards 2023
Reykjavík, Ísland og Kaupmannahöfn, Danmörk (13. nóvember 2023) - Nordic Women in Tech Awards 2023 (#NWITA23) tilkynntu um sigurvegara norrænu tækniverðlaunanna 2023 á árlegum hátíðarhöldum sem voru haldin í Hörpu þann 9. Nóvember.
Verðlaunin eru tileinkuð kvenleiðtogum og nýjum leiðtogum í tækni á þvert á Norðurlöndin, með innlendum tilnefningum sem lýkur með samnorrænni verðlaunahátíð. Verðlaunin eru skipulögð af stofnendum WonderCoders í Danmörku, auk Women In Tech Gothenburg, Women in Tech Oslo, Girls in Tech Nordics, Danish Startup Group, Politiken, og WomenTechIceland sem var gestgjafi hátíðarinnar í ár.
Meðal 260 gesta sem mættu voru Eliza Reid forsetafrú Íslands og Áslaug Arna Sigurbjörnsdóttir Háskóla-, iðnaðar- og nýsköpunarráðherra sem opnuðu hátíðina með hrífandi erindum. Sendiherrar og sendifulltrúar allra norðurlandanna voru einnig viðstaddir ásamt fjölmiðlafulltrúum og samstarfsaðila [a]okkar Business Iceland.
Samstarf við Business Iceland auk styrktaraðila gerðu NWITA hátíðina mögulega í ár.
