Women Innovators Incubator Pitch Night a Big Success!

The Women Innovators Incubator had a successful Pitch Night, which saw 14 teams present their brilliant projects to a live and online audience. Lilja App won the Grand Prize of 1m ISK and Marú Gott took home the People’s Choice Award. The event served as a celebration of women taking chances on their innovative ideas, while leveraging technology to bring their projects to life. We want to thank all of our judges, audiences, production teams, Huawei Iceland, Huawei Sweden and especially Beatriz Garcia Martinez from Huawei for bringing this project to Women Tech Iceland and being an exceptional and creative partner.

The Women Innovators Incubator program is a part of a year-long partnership between WomenTechIceland, Huawei Iceland and Women in Technology Huawei that was launched in 2021. The incubator aims to motivate women to recognize and explore the potential of their ideas, whether or not they possess technical skills and business skills.
